Result Status Flow
Draft → Submitted → Verified → Published ↓ ↓ ↓(Can edit) (Locked) (Approved) (Visible to parents)
Grade Calculation
The system automatically calculates:
- Grade Letter: Based on grade scale (A+, A, B, C, D, F)
- GPA Points: Based on percentage
- Pass/Fail: Based on passing marks
Default Grade Scale:
A+ → 90-100% → 4.00 GPAA → 85-89% → 4.00 GPAA- → 80-84% → 3.70 GPAB+ → 77-79% → 3.30 GPAB → 73-76% → 3.00 GPAB- → 70-72% → 2.70 GPAC+ → 67-69% → 2.30 GPAC → 63-66% → 2.00 GPAC- → 60-62% → 1.70 GPAD → 50-59% → 1.00 GPAF → 0-49% → 0.00 GPA
Verification Process
- Teacher enters marks → Status: "Submitted"
- Department head/coordinator reviews
- Clicks "Verify" → Status: "Verified"
- Admin publishes → Status: "Published"
- Parents can now view results
